x		John Gannam was a perfectionist who made his illustrations look easy. He often did an assignment for a picture over several times in order to achieve a spontaneous perfection. His art editors would worry about his ability to meet a deadline and only forgave him upon delivery when he exceeded their expectations. — W. R.								x
