x		Exhibited - 1975: Utah Museum of Fine Arts, “Rockwell Kent” Provenance - Bears label from Larcada Gallery, 23 East 67 Street, New York, dating the work to 1935. Acquired by the current owner from Kent's third wife's second husband.								x
x		Condition - Very good overall: light mat burn outside image; matted and framed in metal sectional frame.								x
x		Making advertisements for diamonds and luxury autos must have offended Kent's leftist views, but it was striking images like this that solidified his reputation as a great designer. In the late 1920s, Kent won many Art Directors Club awards for his adverts for Marcus & Co., a high-end jeweler, including an oval one in 1929, so we are presuming this was also done for Marcus.								x
